CRUISIN’ INTO AUTUMN
Formula 1 at COTA
Love cars but newer and faster? Then Formula at COTA is THE place to be from Friday, October 17th-Sunday, October 19th. Not only will you see famous drivers such as Lewis Hamilton, Charles LeClerc and Max Verstappen, but you can also check out the headlining musical performances by Kygo, Garth Brooks, and the Turnpike Troubadours.
Trunk or Treat
What do classic cars and Halloween have in common? If you’re in the Bee Cave area on Sunday, October 25th, don a costume and take a walk down Hill Country Blvd to check out the Rolling Sculpture Car Show AND get your fill in candy and treats!
FESTIVAL FUN
Viva la Vida Festival & Parade
On October 25, Austin will celebrate the 42nd year of the one of the largest and longest-standing Day of the Dead celebrations – otherwise known as Viva La Vida. The event is co-hosted by the Mexi-Arte Museum and Austin Convention Center. This year, the event includes a big parade and festival full of colorful art all along 4th Street and Congress Avenue. Come out and celebrate this beloved tradition and honor the memory of a loved one.
Sweet Eats Fruit Farm Fall Festival
This fun-filled Georgetown favorite goes all-out for fall. From September 20th through November 7th, make sure to visit Sweet Eat Fruit Farm where you can spend an entire day walking through the corn maze, visit the petting zoo or simply have fun launching apples at a target. With their 40 unique varieties of pumpkins, you can surely find one to take home for carving just in time for those Halloween trick-or-treaters. This event is definitely not-to-be-missed and offers a little something for everyone!
Uhland Fall Festival
Just south of Austin, the town of Uhland will be transformed into a fall festival from September 27th through November 2nd. Filled with everything from exciting rides, games, food, a huge pumpkin patch and curated photo ops, this event is a beloved event, and rated as the #1 Fall Festival in Texas. Tickets start at $20 for a full-day admission and includes free parking. First Responders, Active Duty Military, and Veterans are free so this is a great deal for everyone in the family!
THE SCARES ARE REAL. SO ARE THE SCREAMS.
First on our list is the House of Torment where your fears come alive in the most thrilling way possible! With amazing sets, mind blowing special effects, and actors who bring every nightmare to life, this is more than just a haunted house – it’s an experience you’ll never forget. Open from September 13th through November 9th, it’s the perfect time to grab your friends, test your courage, and see if you can make it through without screaming. Do you dare enter??
Scream Hollow
Get ready for a night of pure adrenaline at Scream Hollow’s Wicked Halloween Park from September 12th through October 25th. Located just outside Austin and spread across 20 eerie acres, this one-of-a-kind haunted park features five terrifying attractions.
